12/2/2004 09:27:38 AM|||Shep|||If you're wondering why Jamaal Magloire isn't on the injured list yet, it's because the Hornets are too banged up already. So much so that they have to apply for an exemption (I guess their project leader didn't win the last task) to have more than 3 players on the IL. They've already got the Baron, Mashburn, and Rogers up in there. "They" say once Magloire misses his third game, they should be eligible for the exemption.

They should be eligible right now, if you ask me. It's not like they're trying to just hang on to some guys until someone else gets injured. Their players are legitimately bruised and battered. But, rules are rules. This isn't Calvinball we're dealing with.

Fantasy Impact

Magloire owners should sit tight. He's definitely not worth dropping, despite being out for the foreseeable future (I can't see the end of February right now - I can only see to about the 24th, since that's my girlfriend's birthday) ... If you have a spot on your IL available, just be patient.
