Views: Any injury to Carter is significant because of his fragile nature, and an injury to the Achilles' area of a leaper like him is even more disconcerting. We'll let you know what the diagnosis is as soon as it's made available. In the meantime, if Carter misses time, expect Donyell Marshall (22 points, 14 rebounds on Wednesday) to slide into the starting lineup and for Jalen Rose and Rafer Alston to see more shots."
If Carter is injured for any real amount of time, Marshall and Rose will be good pickups. Someone in your league probably already has Alston, and probably Marshall... but it's worth looking.
