Stephen Jackson

If Slashin Jackson is still a free agent in your league, do yourself a favor and pick him up. I don’t really care who you have to drop nor what kind of moral conscience you have. If you have 12 or more teams in your league, and Jax is available, you owe it to yourself to pick him up. Unless you believe in superstitions like having bad characters on your team will make you have a bad team. I have that superstition, but it really only applies to Kobe Bryant, and I can usually find ways around picking him up.

Jackson’s numbers for the year: 15.3 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast, 1.2 stl, .4 blk, 1.8 bombs, 2.7 TO on 42% FG and 88% FT. That’s better than any other free agent you’re going to find on the list unless you own all the teams in your league (like this guy – where you could pick up Q-Rich, Michael “The Shark” Finley, Keith Van Helsing, Cat Mob, and Reginald “Time” Miller, before you got around to sorry old Stephen Jackson).

Ask one of the guys from Starsky and Hutch would say “DO it.”
