1/13/2005 06:35:52 PM|||Shep|||Yahoo! Sports: "Jan 11 Wizards forward/center Etan Thomas will make his season debut on Wednesday. Thomas has missed all 32 games due to an abdominal strain. 'They just have to slowly work me in because everything is going well,' Thomas told the Washington Times. 'Brendan [Haywood] and Michael [Ruffin] are playing really well. I just have to work myself back in. I don't think there's a big rush for me to come in and do anything drastic.' Thomas re-signed with the Wizards this past summer, inking a six-year, $39 million deal.
Views: This is great news for the Wizards but not for fantasy owners. Thomas is a banger who will eventually earn 20-25 minutes per night. He'll potentially take away minutes from Haywood, Ruffin, Jared Jeffries, Kwame Brown, and Antawn Jamison. We're not worried about Thomas damaging Jamison's stats too much, but fantasy owners should still be wary of the situation."
That's right, I'm just a quote machine today... I was trying to figure out some way to combine all these posts into a kind of Update post, but they all seemed to be just different enough that I couldn't bear to hide them all under a single title.|||110555684092452848|||ET (Etan Thomas) set to return
