Okay, so I don’t actually know that he’ll be out until May. The AP couldn’t be more clear than “likely.”
FOXSports.com – NBA- May’s rookie season likely over after surgery
Charlotte Bobcats forward Sean May had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Thursday, likely bringing his rookie season to an end.
Safe to say it’s time to drop him. He’s not going to make your keeper list so don’t worry about it.
Jumaine Jones has been picking up the minutes, filling in for like 9 injured players on the Bobcats roster. His numbers aren’t great, but there better than nothing. 1.8 threes/game (over the last 5) could help you fill a hole there. His 11, 4.8, and 1.6 aren’t stellar, but are above the league average for forwards. And he can play the small one.
If you want to look real smart, keep an eye on Alan Anderson. Yeah, who? I don’t know either, and it probably won’t matter for either of us if Kareem Rush and Emeka Okafor ever get back. Meanwhile, Brevin Knight and Raymond Felton are both Ballin’ Outta Control (when you consider the fact that they play the same position and they combined for 74 minutes played in their last game).
