This is already a playoffs for the ages.

As an fan who thinks that Nash should not have won the MVP this year, I do have to say that Nash was in place and outside the half-circle. Good thing there’s no red flag in the NBA or it might have turned the game the other way. We all know this game is constructed on a tenuous foundation of momentum. It’s obvious (thanks to the extensive replays) that Nash is in place before Kobe leaves the ground. If that is Sasha Vujacic making that dunk over Nash, what are the chances it comes out as an offensive foul? I’m surprised there is no “Eyes Only” memo from The Commish alerting the refs to the fact that Nash has likely been selected as the MVP and to make him appear as such.

True Hoop has some dicussion going on. If you want to throw down, go ahead.

    I actually thought Nash was just getting into place but that it was at the point where it could legitimately have been called either way. The charge/block is the hardest thing to call, and I think that play really typifies that.
