And he's provided a first round lottery pick for the Bulls this year. I think that means we have the second-best chance of getting the #1 pick. We'll find out next Tuesday...

Man, I sure hope this isn't the end of the Isiah Thomas Era. It's been very interesting, and provided good material.

And if nothing else, I'm a Sixers fan, so I can appreciate having one less team in the division to worry about. :D

Haha, I had no idea either. I guess MBAs in the wild are naturally attracted to each other's over-developed sense of self-worth and entitlement.

Regarding Larry Brown, if my employer gave me 25 million just to go away, you can be damn sure that I would be retiring and setting up residence on some small island much south of where I currently live. Of course, the point that Larry Brown is not the Knicks problem is absolutely right. On Mike and Mike in the Morning the other day, they floated out the idea (rumor?) of a Knicks/Bulls trade involving Francis and Ben Gordan to Tim Legler, who proceed to shoot it down as making no absolutely sense for Chicago. Now while I agree, it surprising to see how far the Franchise has fallen in just a few years.

“If Isiah were really smart”… that’s a good one Nels.

Holy crap! If I'd know PMad was an MBA, I would have just started a new blog called "MBAs on the NBAs." So, for anyone interested, Give Me The Rock now has 4 degrees (at least, that I know of).

I think Larry should have just left the coaching behind after taking the Spurs to 7 games. For his health's sake, maybe he'll just retire now. That said, JVG did have a point when he said that Larry Brown is the only proven winner the Knicks have right now. That said, I don't think there's any way he can fix what happened with Starbury and Franchise. The rest of the players are young enough that they could probably shake it off and play another season for Brown. If Isiah were really smart he'd buy out those two and go forward with the core of players that remain. They'd probably end up with a better record without making any other moves.

Maybe after Isiah leaves NY he can pitch in a few bucks to join Magic, Jordan, and Barkley with the new Las Vegas team.
