I believe it was Adam Sandler who once said “They’re all laughing at you.” So, while this Ballad accurately depicts Isiah’s reign as GM, perhaps this clip shows what the MVP of the NIT is capable of. And maybe it will be Isiah who is laughing at you.

No matter how it turns out, though, one has to think that Renaldo Balkman’s name is almost certainly a tribute to Ronaldo Blackman, right? I mean, come on: Blackman played from 82-94. Balkman was born in July of 84, just a month after Blackman finished what is clearly his best season as pro (even as only a 3rd year player – see what happens when you stay in school, kids?). The fact that Blackman played his last 2 seasons with the Knicks and Balkman was drafted by the Knicks was probably just icing on the cake of his parents’ new house. Made of gingerbread. With gumdrop plants in the yard.
