Thanks Perk. Through way of the CelticsBlog.com, the Boston Herald has a new article about Sebastian Telfair. The important thing from the article is that he doesn't know if he'll be starting or not. You think he'd have to seeing that the Celtics went after him so hard, but it's something to watch out for.

Agreed. Bad oversight there as I had one eye on vacation. Move Gomes up to the 11th or 12th round. I also should have written something about Gomes, who was truely one of the bright spots of the Celtics last year. Considering I don’t trust Jefferson, I could see Gomes logging some serious minutes and keeping a lot of the value that he had last year.

I’m going with MBG on this one. I think the Celtics youth is looking a lot better than the Warriors youth. Plus, their whole team is youth, so you kind of have to hope that it works out for them.

I am also going to agree with dickface – as much as it pains me to agree with someone named dickface. I don’t see how Gomes goes to 15 after the March/April he had last season. Even if that’s where he should be taken… he won’t be.

Ryan Gomes definitely shouldn’t be in the basement of this list. He’s gonna log serious minutes and if anyone gets injured, gets traded or fails to live up to potential, he’s right back to 35 minutes a game and a starting nod.

Thats a bold statement to just throw out there. The Celtics have a solid core of young guys who just need to build their conditioning and squash the injury bug, and then they’ll be contributing. Although I still hope we work out a trade for a second allstar and make Docs job easier by getting rid of some of the kids.

There’s only 1 thing more overrated than the Warriors’ youth and that’s the Celtics’ youth.
