Hornets to Play in LA. by 2007-08 Season

What do you think when you see that headline (which is from NBA.com)? If you’re like me, you think the Hornets are going to move to LA to play along side the Lakers and Clippers. Holy shit, that is absolutely crazy news! I was going mad as I clicked on the link! And then I read:

On nola.com, the Associated Press, by Christopher Bodeen, reports that “NBA commissioner David Stern says he expects the Hornets to play all their home games in New Orleans by the 2007-08 season. The team has scheduled just six home games for New Orleans in the upcoming season, with the other 35 in Oklahoma City, where the Hornets temporarily relocated after Hurricane Katrina.

Oh. Ok. I guess they mean Louisiana. That seems kinda deceptive.

    Yeah, I thought that too. They actually put a period after the “L” making it L.A. I guess they can’t afford good editors, or anyone with the intelligence of a fourth grader.
