Yeah, time to get off my ass and post something, right?

    Okay… here’s some links:

Something allegedly fantasy basketball-related at Creative Sports from the guy who runs RotoRob. [Warning: RotoRob sees fit to cover fantasy sports that do not end in basketball. I'm not sure why, but you have been warned.]

NBA.com always seems to have good fantasy analysis. And you know they’re not going to be writing about other fantasy sports. That would kind of break the whole concept.

FOXSports has a good article about which teams will give you consistent fantasy players and which will not. It’s worth a look.

In the game against China: Brad Miller was 5-for-5, including 3-for-3 from behind the 3-point line. Just something to think about when creating your Big Board. Something else to think about: He was 0-0 from downtown against Brazil. Maybe the China game says more about China’s defense than it does about Brad’s offense. And I thought I might have had something there for a second.

Fantasy Basketblog takes a look at what positions the rookies will be playing for Yahoo. I’m not exactly sure where they found this out since there is no link in the article. PMad was kind enough to comment on their post, but not so kind as to post a link as to where he gets his information. I mean, I thought I was on top of things today when I signed up to be alerted when Yahoo opens registration for fantasy basketball leagues. I didn’t see anything except little DHTML (no, not AJAX) pop-ups when I was clicking around their fantasy hoops home page. I guess I’ll have to look a little harder next time I venture to the Yahoo network of sites. Maybe they bury things on purpose to increase the number of hits they get so they can try to keep up with MySpace.

Ha, you got me Nels. I went into that comment fully expecting to throw out the link, which can be found here, and it was only after I hit submit that I realized I forgot it.

From what I’ve seen, Yahoo integrates its fantasy info (what little there is of it) into its regular sports stats, which is equal parts cool and confusing. Actually looking for fantasy information on Yahoo’s fantasy site, how silly of you Nels!
