Yeah, I'm pretty worried about the whole Baron Davis thing too. But he was technically my 5th round pick, and that's when you're supposed to gamble a little.

I could have gone with Mo Pete for the 3's but I still needed a PG at that point, and some more assists. Mike James might have been an okay choice, but there's some PT issues in Minnesota...

Jason Terry doesn't get enough assists and I didn't want to reach for Brandon Roy or Luke Ridnour with the first pick in the 5th round. Tony Parker and Sam Cassell don't make enough 3s. So, as I said before, I pretty much screwed things up royally by not taking Boris Diaw instead of either JON or Howard. Wow, did I ever. Then I could have taken someone like Jason Terry as my PG and been okay.

That's pretty much how the whole draft went. I went overkill on one end, and then had to overcompensate the other way. Ay yi yi.

Sounds like you'll be relying on a lot of Baron Davis for 3's and assists... wowza, that could be painful.

Overall, though, it's a good looking team. I really like your 1/2/3 picks, which should set you up with a solid core at F/PF/C. I also read somewhere (I think) that we might see Howard at center a little this year, which could be a nice bonus for your team. And I even like the West pick, he was like the 45ish ranked player last year AND I think Wally's knees are already hurting, so there you go. And Steven Jackson at 121 - when he's not shooting at people, he can play a little. He averaged what, 18 points a game last year?
