Mutoni over at Bench Renaldo wants you to stop reading ESPN. I’m not sure why, since he was one of the Tattoo Bloggers on there, but since I wasn’t selected for shite, I’m going to agree with him. I stopped reading ESPN a long time ago, and I don’t think I’ve suffered a bit. In fact, I’d almost say I’ve unsuffered because of it.

So, what are you going to do instead of reading ESPN? Start reading NBAPlanet.com!!! Okay, maybe… We’ll see how that upstart turns out, but it is certainly an interesting idea.

      it was a joke.

it’s pretty hard to avoid espn; i read simmons (when he’s not being an insufferable prick) and some of their other people. but i’m glad we have a lot more to choose from in this day and age…

I still read ESPN because they simply have more content and information in one place than anyone else, but I’ve pretty much stopped watching ESPN except for live sporting events.

I would still read ESPN if they actually had any non-insider content available. Ok, there is Simmons and they do let people read AP stories for free (woo-hoo)!

I’m playing fantasy football at ESPN right now and they won’t even let me read player news without paying them money.
