Go ahead and buy yourself something nice if you happened to listen to Nels during the GMTR [this time it counts] mock draft. His team 4 jumped into the lead yesterday, led by more man than child man-child Mehmet Okur and backed up by Charlie Villanueva, Kevin Garnett, and this has got to be too good to last Ron Artest (whose averaging about 19 steals a game right now). With that lineup, it’s not surprising team 4 leads the league in steals, as well as rebounds and assists (primarily thanks to a Chauncey Billups/TJ Ford combo). Surprisingly, team 4 also leads the league in FT%, ahead of team 9 and what I thought would be the deadly FT combination of Steve Nash and Ray Allen.

Here’s where the league stands as of 11/7.

Team PTS
1. Team 4 66.0
2. Team 9 62.5
3. Deuces Wild 52.5
4. Team 1 43.0
5. Eight is Great 42.5
6. Lucky 7 40.5
7. Deep Six 35.5
8. Team 3 34.0
9. Team In10thity 32.5
10. Team 5 31.0

hey do you think that fantasy is the killer ap for basketball? i noticed that i watch a lot more players and thus more teams when i am more involved in fantasy basketball.

i guess it is a ritual that i enjoy.

hey i was also wondering if your blog is syndicated and if i could put up a feed to it from nbajunkie.com

    thanks!

John (and anyone else who’s interested),

The feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/GiveMeTheRock. It doesn’t show up right, but it works for syndication. I’ll have a look and see if I can get it to generate the correct output.

And yes, you can syndicate it as long as there is a link back to this site.
