…that you pick up Andrea Bargnani.*

*I put the disclaimer up because this is advice for deeper leagues. If you play in the standard league that starts 9 players or less then you should stand your ground and allow someone else to waste a roster spot on a mediocre player. But! If you are like me and play in a league that is comparable to a World of Warcraft server then you should pull up Bargnani’s recent stats.

In his last 7 games he has played at least 22 minutes and more importantly, attempted around 10 shots per contest. He is adding around 12ppg, 1bpg and 1 3pg. Plus he is perfect from the foul line in 17 attempts. Bargnani is now appearing comfortable on the court and has put up two solid weeks of consistency. Expect his numbers to improve as he becomes increasingly comfortable on the court and as the Raptors focus on another developmental year, even though their 5-10 record has them only a half game out of the 8 spot in the East.

Lets review… pick him up if you are in a deep league and have an expendable roster spot, Channing Frye, Josh Childress, Speedy Claxton, Rajon Rondo or Kurt Thomas, just to name a few.
