When guys are getting technicals left and right for arguing with referees, it’s just an extension of that to give a guy 15 games for throwing a punch. Two questions come to mind. If Ron Artest or Steven Jackson had thrown that punch instead of Carmelo, do you think they’d be gone for the year? And given what we know now about the state of the NBA, how angry must have Stern been when he found out about Steven Jackson’s little shooting spree? Welcome to the kindler, gentler NBA.
