Last night was a very engaging night for sports. Of course the highlight was my Seattle Seahawks vanquishing the Dallas Cowboys in a game that was a symphony of ridiculousness. How long before losing that game is blamed on the NFL’s perennial scapegoat T.O.? Hey, Cleveland was terrible again? Sounds like T.O.’s fault to me.

- Sonics vs. Warriors, i saw none of the game, but i assume it is safe to say that it did not rival the football game… 1. Nick Collison grabbed 10 boards in 26 minutes, he consistently makes you want to pick him up, but he can never justify it statistically. Keep him on the waiver wire. 2. Damien Wilkens decided he would spite the half dozen fantasy owners that picked him up in the last week and had a terrible game. 3. Mickael Gelabale got 33 minutes and the start!?!? Of course Rashard Lewis is hurt, but Gelabale? He did have 10,5,0,1,2 so credit is due. In fact if he gets 30+ minutes every night you may want to watch his numbers.

- Marcus Camby missed last nights game with the same finger injury that kept him out for two weeks. Again, you can block shots and rebound with 4 fingers, all fantasy players should send a fruit basket to Camby’s owner, or a stripper, i guess it all depends on the parlance of your friendship.

- Kirk Hinrich shot 2 for 11 last night. The time he missed may have affected his shot. BUY LOW! Despite this, owners should hold onto him as his assists are still pumping, but potential suitors should try to pry him away now.

- LeBron was outscored by Larry Hughes AND Drew Gooden for the SECOND straight game. This is great news for Hughes and Gooden owners as King James seems to be interested in being more of a playmaker and less of a scorer for the moment. This has no ramifications for LeBron owners, he decided that he would lead the team in rebounds last night and he decided he would lead the team in assists previously against the Bucks. The point is, LeBron will decide what he wants to do in a given night, then proceed to be the best Cav in that specialty. I can’t wait for block night!

- Across the ball from LeBron, Mikki Moore sang a sirens song last night. I have already had him on my team twice and would advise against running your ship against the rocks. His 8-11FG 18 Pts and 10 Rbs would have looked great in your lineup, but his inconsistency is as volatile as Scot Pollard’s haircuts. Seriously, when did he get this mohawk?

- Shelden Williams and Marvin Williams did nothing to help you decide which one you should add to your team. Shelden 28mpg 4pt 5rb and Marvin 31mpg 8pt 5rb. One of these guys should be putting up good fantasy numbers by the end of the year. They just have to sort out who will be Serena and who will be Venus.

- Danny Granger only saw 21 minutes last night… SELL HIGH! Granger has been a fantasy beast this year filling up the stat line. He has played less than 30 minutes in five of his last eight games though. His time may be running out.

- The Blazers and the Kings played… that about sums it up.

  • Thanks for the Mikki Moore recommendation. I was debating on whether or not to add him to my team this morning. I'm going to stay away.
