You may have heard about Tony Allen blowing out his ACL last night on a meaningless dunk way after the whistle. But have you seen it? Thanks to mjd for the video.

With Allen gone for the year, Gerald Green finally becomes worth that add, as Doc Rivers his pretty much forced to play him now.

Also, after much speculation, Chris Webber was bought out by the Sixers. TrueHoop has a great summary of Webber, his story, and on what team he might end up on. And Fantasy Basketblog sums up the fantasy implications of those possible locations. Personally, from a pure fantasy standpoint, it’s not going to get much better for Webber than the 76ers. If you held onto him for this long, a trade might be worthwhile.

Rasheed Wallace coming off the bench? The Pistons and Rasheed can spin it any way they want, but it’s been a long fall from Wallace’s great 2005/2006 season.

And finally, Steve Blake goes from the Bucks to the Nuggets for Earl Boykins and Julius Hodge. Let me make the bold prediction that… not much is going to change. Blake was all ready to get his chance with Mo Williams out with an injury for the next couple of weeks, but apparently the Bucks weren’t excited by that development. Boykins will continue to ride high while Williams is out, but you may want to start to explore trade options for Boykins before he is forced to share time on the court with Williams.
