i quite agree with the fact that Ike is improving with every game, and his trade to Indy, would give him more space and time on the court. however i think IKE would be better starting as a small forward than a Power forward. apart from the fact that he's only 6ft8, he doesnt stand a chance against PF'S like Dirk,Garnett. etc. he needs more time to adapt to the NBA,with his age and low experience not in his favour. betterstill i think he's got the energy, speed and hunger for success, and i see him progressing to a top notch forward in the NBA.

I don't think this hurts SJax as much as you do, and I have a hard time seeing Dunleavy playing much SG, at least against most teams. But I do believe that Jasikevicius should be Baron's caddy and is the kind of player Nelly should run out in the rotation. The transition will be relatively smooth until JRich comes back, at which time Pietrus and Barnes and Jackson will have to fight to retain fantasy relevance as the minutes tighten up. That is, if JRich comes back as JRich rather than a shorter CWebb! Now is when we find out how much game Nelly really thinks Azubuike really has, since he looks like the first guy out of the rotation right now...

Damn, I just traded Al Harrington too...

Props on getting this post up so quickly. I had just heard about the trade about 5 minutes before I came across your post. I'm assuming you have a direct line to Larry Bird.

I'm glad you're writing about this. It seems like a big deal not because of the marquee names, but b/c of the number of names.
