With Bobby Simmons out for the year, Patterson will have value even when Redd comes back, especially in a deep league. His scoring will go down, but he'll still get decent minutes every night.

Plus, I'm not really excited about your other options, Pietrus' value is pretty much gone now (after the trade) and will disappear entirely when Richardson comes back. And both Frye and Gay will likely drive you crazy with their inconsistency. They don't produce regularly enough to be worth picking up over Patterson. You might want to look at Bostjan Nachbar, if he's still available in your league.

With the Bucks getting their player healthy again, is ruben patterson still worth having? my team’s had many injuries and i’ve picked up at least 2 players from the free agency that have boosted my team. if i shouldnt keep Patterson who should i take? im in a 12 category head to head league that is deep. here are some players im thinking of picking up.

pietrus- wont look so great when j rich comes back. also stephen jackson sucks up his minutes.

Frye

gay

i’ve always been skeptical with all those players, but i can never trust my opinion because i tend to play favorites

Min – the more I look at it, the more I like that James/Iverson & Lee trade. Iverson’s currently ahead of James on most player raters and I don’t think James is going to make a second half surge. So you’d gain in assists, steals, FT%, rebounds and lose in… not much. A little bit in threes and blocks, maybe. Yeah, if you can make that trade, go for it.

Also, with Jefferson out for a while, I’d try to find a way to keep Nachbar on your team. Unless your team is really stacked.

Will - Ridnour’s a guy whose fantasy game looks much better than his actual game. This game recap is a perfect example of how Ridnour must drive Bob Hill crazy. Ridnour has always been an incredibly streaky player and he’ll continue to be whether Watson is starting or not. On the plus side for Ridnour though, Watson has been playing pretty bad lately, so it’s definitely worth holding onto Ridnour to see if he “earns” the starting job back.

What are your thoughts on Luke Ridnour? I own him in one of my leagues and his numbers are less than i had hoped for because of watson. Do you think watson will get traded or will he keep stealing rdnour's minutes?

hey guys I got a quick question. With Lebron's toe injury, talk of missing some games, plus his bad playoff schedule, I've been thinking about trading him.

I'm currently 1st in a 14 team league, we have 12 cats counting FGM, FTM, 3PT%. I dominate pretty good in the pts categories. Knowing that, would you guys trade Lebron for Iverson and David Lee?

thanks a lot

I'd take Amare over Okafor myself, as well as all the other guys listed. I was curious to see what other intelligent people thought about it.

Regarding Okafor...

It's not exactly apples/apples throwing Brand in there. If he had C eligibility, he'd be a top seven selection regardless of the settings. Ming was having the season of his career before going down, and in fantasy terms, Bosh doesn't hurt you anywhere - as Okafor does with the FT%. So, actually, the only guy I would consider taking him over at this point would be Amare...and that's even a toss-up.

I just got a chance to listen to the Walton podcast (I don't have speakers at work, and frankly, I'd be afraid to listen at work) and yep, it's insane beyond explanaion.

The introduction alone is worth the price of admission, "Let's find out what's on Bill Walton's mind... HERE COMES SUNSHINE!"
