I declare Gilbert Arenas consensus #1 Fantasy Pick for 2007-08

For this post alone, I think Gilbert should be the #1 draft pick next season. I mean, he’s already #6 on the Dropping Dimes Mock Draft, and that’s with Garnett going ahead of him before he got traded to the Celtics. So, really, that makes Arenas #5. And LeBron will probably coast through the season again leading to fantasy disappointment. So, that puts Gilbert up to #4. Kobe Bryant is on my Never-On-My-Team Team. So that puts Agent Zero up to #3.

At this point I realize it’s a bit of a stretch to move Gilbert ahead of Dirk and The Matrix… but I guarantee you that if I have the #1 pick in any fantasy draft this season, I am taking Gilbert Arenas.

    No shite I’m a fool to draft him first. This is a perfect example of why you shouldn’t let your emotions play into your fantasy draft.

    If I do actually end up taking Gilbert with the 1st overall pick, I don’t plan on actually winning my league. But I will be happy all season long.

    Hibachi is up their this year cause’ he’s playing for a contract. His motivation to produce can definitely be measured in dollars. Maybe not a #1, but damn close.
