Matt Buser at Yahoo analyzes position battles for the majority of the teams. There’s a lot of these so-called position battles going on – even at several positions on some teams.

Fantapedia has some rookie analysis. Generally, anyone who’s not out for the season and not named Kevin Durant is probably a bit of a risk. But when you’re trying to look like a genius at the end of the draft, taking a chance on a rookie can be the kind of risk you want to take.

HoopStar Basketball has some High Risk / High Reward picks for you. To me, that’s a synonym for “Stay Away” but I guess someone’s got to pick guys like Marcus Camby and Baron Davis (yes, I did once). I usually try to let that someone be not me.

Marcel Mutoni says that John Canzano of The Oregonian is suggesting that Brandon Roy may need surgery on his heel. Oh, did I mention that I drafted Roy and Oden on the same team? So, yeah… That draft for Basketball Action is turning from a league I was really excited about to one in which I’m just hoping I can hang on , and not suck. Anyway, if you haven’t had your draft yet, I’d suggest a strategy of not taking Brandon Roy unless there’s more definitive news out by the time your pick comes up.
