That title works a lot better if the Cavs had actually won yesterday, but it’s stuck in my head and I’m going to use it whether it makes sense or not.

Line of the Night/Day: LeBron James (8.8). When you take your vitamins, say your prayers, and make your free throws, good things will happen. Ok, maybe not winning actual basketball games, but you’ll make your fantasy owners happy.

Honorable Mentions: Kobe Bryant (7.8), Steve Nash (7.3), Ray Allen (6.9).

Waiver Wire Player of the Night: Damien Wilkins (3.3). Wilkins has found a role starting alongside Kevin Durant and looks like he’s become the third option on offense behind Durant and Chris Wilcox. Snatch him up if you’re looking for a guard who can score.

Goat of the Night: He’s probably not starting in many leagues, but I’m curious what Quentin Richardson (-6.7) was actually doing on the court for 30 minutes yesterday. 0 points, 0 for 2 shooting and 3 rebounds.

Dishonorable Mentions: Raja Bell (-4.8) and Peja Stojakovic (-4.9) both had horrible shooting nights. Bell shot 3 for 13 and Peja finished with 5 points on 1 for 10 shooting.

Other Stuff Like This:

  • Leonard Winston
The funny thing is the start of NY and Denver game when I dropped him. He makes a 3 followed by a inside shot on Mello...made me start to think did I jump the gun to soon...end of the night he only had 7 haha while Bogans gave me more positive then negative
  • The funny thing is that Richardson played really well last year in limited time when he wasn't hurt. He's gotten even more playing time to start the season, but the results haven't been there. He's still got plenty of time to get things turned around, it's only been two games, keep an eye on him.

I had Q-Rich on my 20 H2H league and dropped him for Keith Bogans soon as I got home and looked at his stat. The only thing I wanted from him was 1.7 3pt a night. Is that to much to ask for?
