From the Washington Post:

A statement from the doctor who perfomed the surgery: “I repaired a partial tear of Gilbert’s left medial meniscus,” said Dr. Marc Connell, the team physician. “In addition, he had a non-weight bearing articular surface defect in the trochlea treated by microfracture. We are optimistic that he will be able to return to action in three months.”

If Andray Blatche wasn’t picked up after his 26 point night last night, you’ll probably want to pick him up. Someone’s got to pick up the slack for 3 freakin months.

Antonio Daniels is another good pickup. He’s already been added in the GMTR Readers League, and the DroppingDimes Experts League. It’s Thanksgiving Eve people! Don’t you have anything better to do??? But yeah, the fact that he’s been added in both those leagues today is evidence enough that he needs to be added inmediatamente.

DeShawn Stevenson has also been picked up in the DroppingDimes league, and is apparently in the process of being added in the GMTR Readers League (since I can’t add him to my team!)

Nick Young maybe? He’s been getting more minutes recently. I’d say add him in deep leagues, and keep an eye out in standard leagues.

I don’t even want to speculate on the effects this will have on Gilbert’s shoe launch (which just started today).
