I was in Portland over the Thanksgiving Holiday and saw a giant sign bearing what you may or may not know as the marketing slogan for the Blazers this season RISE WITH US. It seemed appropriate looking at yesterday’s stats…

Line of the Night: LeBron James (6.06). I’m not sure how he can even get 12 assists when taking 29 shots, but he does it. And if he keeps it up, you’re going to be seeing his name in this spot a lot more in the next 144 days.

Honorable Mentions: Andre Iguodala (5.46) starting to get on the right track, Josh Smith (5.28) blocking everything, and we’re going to be seeing a lot of Caron Butler (5.20).

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Juan Carlos Navarro (4.38). He probably got picked up after dropping 8 threes on Nov. 16th, but he might have been dropped again after scoring only 2 points in 10 minutes (and has probably been picked up again already after putting in 5 more last night).

Rise With Us: Rudy Gay (4.50), Ricky Davis (4.37), Marko Jaric (3.93), Mike Miller (3.84), Andres Nocioni (3.58), Daniel Gibson (3.31), Louis Williams (3.22), Kyle Lowery (3.01).

Goat of the Night: Al Harrington (1.68) did little to support his current #51 rating, making 1 shot of 6 and adding only 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal to his 3 turnovers.

Dishonorable mentions: Kirk Hinrich (1.87). His 4 rebounds and 4 assists were decent, but 5/18 from the field really hurts, especially when none of those 5 makes is a three pointer. Ben Gordon’s (1.87) 4/17 was equally as bad when combined with his 5 turnovers. Go Bulls.

Assuming they’d both be of equal value to your team, I’d go with Blatche. He’s slightly higher on the GMTR player rater, and we know that as long as he plays well and Brendan Haywood plays poorly, he’ll continue to produce.

Moon’s production to me seems sort of unexplainable, so I’m hesistant since I can’t know really how long he’ll keep it up.
