Line of the Night: Dwyane Wade (6.3) did it all except win the game for the Heat, whose record now stands at 7-19. In last night’s overtime loss to New Jersey, he scored 41, had 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocked shots. He was also 10 of 12 from the line.

Honorable Mentions: Allen Iverson (4.9) scored 36 with 9 assists, but it took him two overtimes and 57 minutes to get there; Vince Carter (4.8) went for 31/8/6 and was 10 for 10 from the line; Yao Ming (4.5) was also involved in that double overtime game and finished with 26/19; was anyone guarding Carmelo Anthony (4.4) last night? He grabbed 12 offensive rebounds on his way to a career high 16. He also added 37 points. It’s a good day for anyone who owns him in a league that counts the o-board.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Thanks to a perfect storm of events (Tracy McGrady out + playing a team that gives up a lot of points + double overtime) both Rafer Alston (4.8) and Luther Head (4.1) put up fantasy friendly stat lines yesterday. Alston got 50 minutes and scored 18 with 7 boards, 10 assists and 3 steals. Head played 45 minutes and scored 22 points off 5 for 10 from three. McGrady’s sore knee doesn’t appear to serious, which means he’ll either be back for Houston’s next game or miss the next 25 in a row.

Goat of the Night: Drew Gooden (1.6). I’ve never considered myself a Drew Gooden fan (I don’t, in fact, celebrate his entire collection), although he was off to a decent start while Anderson Varejao was throwing a hissy fit at the beginning of the season. But now Varejao is back with the team and Gooden has returned to his 25 to 27 minute you-never-know-what-you’re-gonna-get role that fits him so well. His latest performance included 4 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist in 25 minutes. Meanwhile, Varejao went for 11 and 15 in 35 minutes.
