NOTE: An abridged version of the rundown today. I just got a Wii and having trouble pulling myself away from it.

Line of the Night/Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Nazr Mohammed (5.5) Well, this is an interesting development. Mohammed, who disappeared from the NBA consciousness during his tenure with the Pistons, has quickly risen back to relevance on the Bobcats. In only his third game with Charlotte (and second start), Mohammed scored 20, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked 4 shots in only 29 minutes of action. There is one small reason not to get overly excited about his performance. The game was against the Knicks – known allowers of huge fantasy games.

Honorable Mentions: Chris Kaman (5.4) had 24 and 19 with 3 blocks; Al Jefferson (5.2) had 29 and 13 with 3 blocks; Hedo Turkoglu (4.9) scored 29 and was 10 for 10 from the free throw line; Gerald Wallace (4.8) scored 27 and had 4 steals; Joe Johnson (4.7) went for 32, 5, and 8 in a Hawks win.

Goat of the Night: Kirk Hinrich (1.3). Dude. Get good again. Immediately.

Dishonorable Mentions: It’s official, after a 2 point, 4 rebound, 4 turnover performance, Darko Milicic (1.4) is out of my Fav 5. I knew the crush was over when I traded him earlier in the year for Mehmet Okur (who has been horrific in his own way). Also, Chucky Atkins (1.3) had a 1 for 8 shooting night on his way to 3 points.

Congrats on the Wii. As a heads up, don’t buy NBAlive. Trust me, worst 50 bucks ever. But if you have a strong urge to buy it, ill sell it to you for cheap.

I want a wii. I almost bought one two weeks ago but found the price to more then what I expected it.

    Fantasy question

I hate asking about players that’s not mention in the post but trying to decide on Wally Szczerbiak or James Posey. I have hard time deciding how each player fits their team. I think they are both the first option off the bench. Looking at their avg stat side by side the advantage would be James only because of REB but I’m leading my league in REB so that little advantage is pointless.

Thanks for the heads up about NBA Live Will. About a month ago, I dusted off my old Super Nintendo and broke out a little NBA Live 95. Good stuff. I remember creating a fake Michael Jordan back in the day because they didn’t put him in there. Same thing with Shaq, I think. We’ve come a long way.

Leonard, no problem at all with the question. Given the choice between Posey and Szczerbiak, I’d go with Szczerbiak, who has been on a little bit of a hot streak. For the past week, he’s been playing at a level above Posey (who has seen inconsistent minutes game to game). It also sounds like Szczerbiak will fit your team better than Posey. But don’t be shy to dump Szczerbiak (and possibly pick up Posey) if he gets hurt or sees his minutes decrease.
