Only 2 games last night, but the four teams scored an average of 126 points apiece, meaning there a full night’s worth of fantasy lines to go around.

Line of the Night: Shawn Marion’s (6.7) line trumped them all. He scored 27, adding 14 rebounds, a career high 6 blocks and a career high 5 threes as the Suns scored 137 points (no overtimes) and beat the Nuggets by 22. Marion on Marion: “A good day at the office, I guess you could say.”

Honorable Mentions: Baron Davis (6.1) went for 34/6/14 in the Warriors overtime win while Andris Biedrins (4.6) scored 13 off 5-8 shooting, grabbed 10 boards and had a couple steals and blocks; Tony Parker (4.2) scored 31 points adding 8 dimes; Tim Duncan (4.0) went for 32/16 and was 14-16 from the line. Way to make those free throws Timmy.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: The Suns went 20-31 for three last night. Marcus Banks (4.7) took 8 of those threes. They were his only 8 shots. The little dude also blocked a couple shots, leading to the bizarre point guard line of 23 points, 7 threes, 0 assists and 2 blocked shots. That stat line may be a first.

In the other game, Kelenna Azubuike (4.2) was a perfect 7-7 from the floor, scoring 16 points with 6 boards in 24 minutes.

Goat of the Night: Not too much to choose from these high scoring games. Matt Barnes (1.1) started for the Warriors but only played 8 minutes for some reason that isn’t clear because I didn’t watch the game. Boris Diaw (1.6) scored 4 points on 2-8 shooting. And Raja Bell (1.7) only managed 7 of the Suns 137 points on 3-7 shooting.

According to his blog you can expect Arenas back sometime late February to mid-March, which means his value to your team will be pretty low. If you want to shake up your team, yeah go for the Kidd trade. Especially if your in a league that doesn’t count turnovers.
