I think that odom is too valuable a part of the triangle offense to go into the sixth man role

Wow, I am completely shocked with this trade. KWAME GETS HIS CHANCE TO SHINE! OH YEAH BABY!

I really didn't believe this was a legitimate trade when I first read about it. It just came out of left field. Nels pretty much nailed the fantasy impact, although I have to agree with Leonard, I see Odom shifting to the SF when Bynum comes back, which I believe he played some of with the Clippers. I just can't see Odom coming of the bench compared to someone like Walton or Ariza (which is a huge fantasy hit for both those two). Kobe, Gasol, Odom, Bynum, and Fisher pretty much keep all their fantasy value (abet in slightly different categories). As for the Grizzles, forget about Darko and Kwame, because life is all Gay for them right now.

This trade means that Walton and Ariza will have to battle eachother for playing time behind the SG/SF

I see Lamar Odom sliding down to the Small Froward once Andrew Bynum is back. (Wow did they just become one of the best Rebounding, 2nd chance team in the NBA?)

youre right its about the picks that the grizz get. But kwames contract (10 mil) allows them to add a decent FA whenever they contend again.
