Regarding Marcus Williams vs Amir Johnson, both are talented. Like you said Wallace could potentially be done after this year, but I don’t see 6-9 Johnson shifting over to center. Power forward maybe, where Antonio McDyess’ contract is done after this year. Williams might benefit the most from a Kidd trade, but if they’re getting a point guard back like Devin Harris, it puts him in the same position he’s been in since he’s entered the league.

Jordan Famar also is a talented PG and has played good while averaging 20-something minutes a game. The bad news is that Derek Fisher is signed until 2010, so we’re probably going to see some kind of PG sharing role for the near future. That all said, if I had to pick someone to keep for next year, it would be Amir Johnson (although it could change depending on what happens trade-wise).

Regarding Michael Beasley or Derrick Rose, I’m really not a college basketball guy. I went to a school with a Division III basketball team that no one cared about (although I was accepted to UCONN and turned it down – who needed to see Ben Gordon/Emeka Okafor/Rudy Gay/Charlie Villanueva anyway). All I know is all the “scouts” and “people in the know” say Beasley, although the guy I’ve been hearing the most about on TV/radio/the internet is Rose.

Alright terrance, let's wade through all those questions. Off the top of my head, yes, I would trade Troy Murphy for Andray Blatche. We've seen the best that Murphy has to offer for about the past three years... and it's been nothing special to be kind. And I don't see Murphy improving any time soon. At the same time Blatche has been solid when given the minutes this year. He's still young and should see increased playing time next year. Blatche's got the upside over Murphy no doubt.

Second, I like he trade for Paul and Bynum. Paul is a stud right now and Bynum is totally going to be that banger your asking for down low. Bynum is a keeper. He's what 20? And he's only going to be getting better.

Your other questions are a little tougher. Let me sleep on those... in the nude of course. That's when I do my best thinking.

from a keeper standpoint, opinions on this trade?

got:
chris paul
andrew bynum

gave:

Andre Iguadala
Dirk Nowitzki
Devin Harris

i thought having bynum, sean williams, wilcox, kaman, millsap, and thomas would be some solid bangers down low. But all of them wont take the step anytime soon, if ever.

If you had the #1 pick next season, who would you take? michael beasley or derrick rose?

i picked up amir johnson in my keeper league. our entire 18 or so man rosters carry over season to season and we keep out college draft picks in the FA until we pick them up (then all regular FA rules apply ie: if we drop our picks, anyone can get them. but only after we pick them up)

anyways, i dropped marcus williams for amir johnson. heres my roster.

Chris Paul
Carmelo Anthony
Mike Miller
Kirk Hinrich
Randy Foye
T.J. Ford
Andrew Bynum
Troy Murphy
Chris Kaman
Chris Wilcox
Kyle Korver
Paul Millsap
Sean Williams
Jordan Farmar
Tyrus Thomas
Amir Johnson

my question is who has higher upside? marcus williams or amir johnson? rasheed wallace contract expires after next season, so amir may see time there, hes only 20. tayshaun is locked in for 4 more years, so nothing there.

also, im trying to move t murphy for andray blatche to an owner whos contending for a championship this season. i think its a fair offer...

so amir johnson or marcus williams? are both of them better than some of my other players? like farmar (who i like a lot)?
