Upon winning the NBA championship, Garnett said, "anything is possible". Ok, how about solving the Arab-Israeli conflict. Over at Jewcy, one writer thinks that Garnett can actually do it. Well, Sort of.

anon - you jogged my memory. I do remember that chair comment now. I was probably laughing too hard at the time to remember.

Nels - I don't know what the hell Sasha Vujacic was doing on defense either. But I loved every minute of it. Either him or Gasol was the Least Valuable Player of the series, no doubt.

Seriously - what were the Lakers doing on defense? Most especially Sasha Vujacic? Leaving Ray Allen open on almost every play? Are you kidding me?

I also came to respect and publicly declare my appreciation for Kobe this season. He kind of laid an egg in this series. Jordan may not have been able to overcome this Boston team, but I have to believe he would have done a better job than Kobe.

Congrats Celtics. That was an incredible close out game.

As for JVGs obsession with James Posey, I just kept having flashbacks of his body check on Kirk Hinrich. But, I'll admit that I prefer outright maliciousness to the kind of BS that Bruce Bowen puts out. Give me a Flagrant 2 any day over a sliding a foot underneath a jump shooter.

The announcers DID say something about that play by PJ Brown. Right afterwards, Mike Breen said "he pulled out the chair from under him!" or something like that.
