Trying to follow the karmic debt as it flies around -- Baron dissing the Warriors, Brand dissing Baron and the Clippers, the Clippers dissing Brand with the lowball "take it or leave it" contract offer -- is more difficult than trying to follow an M. Night Shyamalan (sp?) plot. Yes, this makes Thornton more attractive. I think it makes Kaman more attractive, too. (You could make a case for him in the 3rd round, after last year, though I think he's more a 4th-rounder now.) And Eric Gordon might end up being a decent second-half pickup. I still wouldn't pick Baron before the 3rd round, with his injury history.
