Would you believe me if I told you that Patrick and I had started working on a draft guide back in June? Yeah, I didn’t think so. Whether you believe or not, we will have a first draft of said Fantasy Basketball Draft Guide ready at the end of next week. This rough draft will include player previews for ~300 different and unique players in the NBA. The final draft will include revisions to the player previews and (hopefully/probably) some additional content. Why am I telling you this? Because you, my friend, are reading this post, and that means you must at least care a little bit about fantasy basketball. And, as such, I am personally inviting you to be a Beta Reader for the Give Me The Rock 2008-09 Draft Guide. Judging by how quickly the fantasy league filled up last year, this shouldn’t be too hard. The first 5 people to respond to this post (make sure you put your email address in the form) will get a copy of the rough draft to read and criticize. As I said, the rough draft will be sent at the end of next week (most likely the 15th). If you cannot read 300 player previews and send back comments within a week, please don’t ask to be a Beta Reader. Also, there will be no cheerleader or dancer (or any other) pictures in the guide, so if you’re one of the people who come here for that kind of thing, don’t bother.
If you don’t get to be a Beta Reader, don’t freak out. You will still have a chance to get a free copy when the First Edition is published. More details on that later. For now, just see if you can be one of the first 5 people who will be able to give feedback in a timely manner.
