one time i swear i saw barry bonds on a yahoo basketball o-list. when i hit prev. page, he was gone. i’m probably wrong, but i wouldn’t put it past them.

There has been no greater inexplicable love than O-rank’s love of Kyle Korver. Yes, three pointers are very nice, but I think Kyle must have saved Yahoo’s Jerry Yang from a burning building or something. Or perhaps it’s the dreamy eyes or scared kitten approach to defense.

Amen! Pre-ranking works for me. I usually like to use my 3rd-party resources as on-hand information for me to adjust/re-adjust my queue as the draft goes on.

Pre-ranking is one of the best ways to make sure your and/or everyone else’s “sleepers” are on track your projected idealized draft positions.

In Yahoo leagues where I know I can trust the pre-rank system, I don’t even both printing anything out because I pre-rank at least 156 players who I know are worth drafting. Then when it comes to the draft, I can usually just take the next player on my list. Or I can look down a few players if I need a certain position.

I agree that there is NOTHING as maddening as frantically searching for a player on a 3rd party list only to find they’ve already been taken. But, maybe that has to happen to you before you can call yourself a fantasy basketball veteran.
