Barnes is definitely a better player!
sure, Hills defense is a little bit better but Hill cant shoot worth shit and is probably the least clutch player in the game! I just watched him fuck us over after missing three shots in a row (one of which being a layup while UNGUARDED!!!) with two minutes to go opposing team up by two. Barnes can actually pull off three's also.

true that shit i jsut picked up matt barnes in my league…he's gunna do good and hits mad 3's which helps me out and gets decent rebounds..and grant isnt as important as matt is to the team…in my opinion cuz he is young and quiker..if it was grant hill from like 8 years ago grant hill would hav this in the bag easily.

Not to be a jerk or anything, but didn’t you expect Barnes to take over as starter when Hill misses 20 games this year? I’m really not being snarky- I think Barnes was a good pick for this season as a hustle guy to do a little bit of what Raja and Diaw used to.

Also, if GMTR is the Bill Walton of fantasy blogging, does that mean 2RR has to be Luke Walton? ‘Cause I’ve got enough crazy chicks in my life.

i just traded redd and ty thomas for mike conley and kevin durant.

back to the post, so the suns run barbosa, hill, diaw and robin lopez out there for the second team. that team could run with some of mediocre teams out there. not a bad bench.

i remember about 4 years ago when sam bojangles mitchell had alston, vince carter, donyell marshall, bosh, and jalen rose. that shouldve been teh starting five, but rose and marshall werent out there. they use to be good believe it or not.

isaiah thomas ODed on sleeping pills, thats interesting.

jamal crawford is back in the starting lineup tonight.

Hill is 56 with gimpy knees, ankles, etc. They’re preserving him by starting Barnes. Barnes was very impressive when given time last season in GS, and prob. a better play right now than Grandpa Grant.
