Yeah, Walter Herrmann really brought the Palace down with his breathtaking hustles and athleticism display. Being an Argentina basketball fan, I’m more than happy to see being given some quality minutes.

Thank you very much to the new coach for having faith in my man. I’ve always said before that Walter has what it takes to cut in the NBA. He can give the Pistons some options coming from the bench. You use him wisely, and then you see what I mean.

It is often that Manu Ginobili pulls most of the headline but now I’m thinking with Scola banging on the West and Walter in the East; perhaps there is a wind of change.

Please visit my blog as I have posted the Pistons/Wizards match report, based on my humble opinion. Would love certainly love to get some Motor City Rock fan to check it out. Of course let us have your thought about the game?

Well, picking up Thomas wasn't the only bad move I've made, I guess. I traded Joe Johnson for Iguodala. Guess how well that one's paying off. Oh, by the way, Tyrus went 0-5 yesterday, but did have 5 blocks. Hmmm... DROPPED FOR MARC GASOL. Better.

Oh, and I was six minutes late in picking up Walter Herrman in the GMTR Monster league. Curse you, SNL, for making that Keith Olbermann skit go on so long.

As someone who's been in Atlanta for the last decade and saw all those < 2-0 starts, last night's win was a pleasant surprise. Anyone who doubts Joe Johnson should be an All-Star should watch last night's game.

The down side from that game - Marvin Williams shot 1-7 and played only 19-7/12 minutes. I know last year, Marvin was typically on the bench during crunch time and in his place was Josh Childress. At least he didn't need the ball and did the little things that sometimes show up in boxscores. But last night, he was benched for Flip Murray, who besides having a respectable haircut is in no way the type of player that Childress is/was/(Greek word for the verb "to be"). Part of me thinks that Woodson thought Marvin was coming off of an injury and needed to be rested, not that it was a 1 game suspension.

Thus ends my Hawks diatribe, please go back to your NBA stories of more popular interest.
