I am also curious to see how Hawes does since I did pick him up in the Battle of the Bloggers league, and he's starting at C there now.

who would ya?

ricky davis or anthony carter?

AnthonyCarter4Life

I'm really curious to see what Spencer Hawes now that Brad Miller is back. If he can still get decent minutes, Hawes could still have some fantasy value even if he does move back to the bench.

@Terrance, I was actually going to do a transaction reaction pretty soon.

As for Marquis Daniels, I looked at him today, but I don't think he'll keep up the production when Mike Dunleavy comes back. He's not the kind of player who's going to take over the starting spot. I would prefer Nocioni as well (even though he's only got 4 points and 2 rebounds at half time tonight). He should be more consistent at a higher level for the rest of the season, though.

@ FRED: I like kevin love, and i dont like rookies at all. I still think 10-8 with %s that wont kill you are reasonable. Im thinking about who i have on my team and who Id give for him.

Diaw
anthony carter
mike conley (will he turn it around, i dont want to be the one to find out)

those are the only three Id give off of my team, coming short of giving zach randolph, richard jefferson and even beno udrih. If that give you an idea of his value in my eyes. ALthough, udrih for love is a pretty straight deal. I guess i just dont like rookies. Too bad you couldnt get haslem for love.

stealing a subject title from fantasy basketblog:

who would ya?

ricky davis or anthony carter?

and another: Transaction Reaction. Some recent transactions in my league.

14 teams x 13 roster spots

Drop: ridnour
Add: jeff green

This manager used his waiver for jeff green. I like green more than ridnour and green is going to see consistent minutes on a young developing team. As far as ridnour, skiles is already on record saying that a starter won't lose his job because of an injury. So expect ridnour to come back and start, but one things for sure....ramon sessions has at lease peaked some of skiles interest with his recent play. Although, Id say avoid this PG by committee at all cost. So good pickup, I just wouldnt use a high waiver for jeff green.

Drop:turiaf
Add: ariza

I like both of these guys, turiafs per #'s in blocks is rediculous. of course, the lakers have far too many options for ariza to be a consistent fantasy contributor. Ariza doesnt stike me as a player who needs the rock a lot to have value, but until he gets 30 minutes a night, i wouldnt expect much. So i dont know about this move, depends on what the team needs are. Id probably take ariza

Drop: agustin
Add: darrell arthur

this one really isnt worth commenting on. Arthur had a few games, but hes a rookie and the inconsistency will make him and add/drop all season long.

Srop: eric gordon
Add: roger mason

Id rather have mason instead of the rookie. Mason is in a proven system. He could have some value, he's taking brent barrys role from last season. It should be said that Mason is seeing 30 minutes a game right now, and hes good enough to be a consistent option until ginobli gets back

Drop: andray blatche
Add: Marquis Daniels

This was me, and daniels was on my team for one day. Didnt even play a game for me. I was just upset with blatche and figured if daniels starts and the uncertainty about dunleavy continues, daniels should be picked up. Every year I stay away from drafting players with tendinitis in anything, any back or foot problems as they are usually chronic injuries. Instead Ill take the player who broke a bone and is being slept on.

Drop: Marquis Daniels
Add: Andres Nocioni

And this is me being insecure and grabbing nocioni who i think is in line for more consistent minutes, say 25/game? So yeah, when filling your roster, all you want is consistency at the end of your bench. Something like ryan gomes, drew gooden, udonis haslem all come to mind.

You might have to wait until next year to see Love's minutes rise. Every season, there are 2-3 rookies who have productive fantasy years, while the rest spend it adjusting to the NBA. With Gomes starting for the Wolves, I think Love is in for an adjustment year.

Work him into a trade if you can, otherwise I'd drop him if a better free agent is available.

What should I do with Kevin Love? I've got him in a rotisserie and head to head league but I wonder should i wait for his minutes and production to rise or pick a free agent with more experience?
