Line of the Night: Vince Carter (1.35) hates everything having to do with Toronto. The CN Tower, Caribana, good public transportation, but especially the Raptors and their fans. What else would explain him dropping 39 points, with 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 threes on the Raps?
Honorable Mentions: Jose Calderon (1.32) with 26 points, 15 assists and 4 threes. The only thing holding him back was 5 turnovers; Andrea Bargnani (1.29) – with 29 and 10 - is now owned in 55% of Yahoo leagues, so I guess he moves to the big boys table just in time for Thanksgiving; Joe Johnson (1.22) scored 30 and had 8 assists in a Hawks win. He was also 11-11 from the free throw line; and Dwight Howard (0.97) continues is Bill Walton-esque performance with 24 points, 17 rebounds and 5 blocks. Wait, that might be a great analogy.
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Larry Hughes (1.09) is back! He started at small forward for the Bulls and hit 5 threes on his way to 26 points. He added 4 boards, 4 assists, a steal and a block in an amazing 40 minutes on the court. Do the Bulls hate Andres Nocioni that much? Anyway, anyone getting 40 minutes a game warrants a pickup and Hughes can be a decent offensive addition when he’s healthy.
DJ Augustine (0.76). Matt Carroll wasn’t cutting it, so the Bobcats threw out a Felton/Augustine backcourt last night and the results were a lot more fantasy friendly (for Augustine anyway). He was 7-11 from behind the arc and finished with 26 points and 7 assists. While he’s not going to repeat that three point performance anytime soon, pick up Augustine if you’re desperate for guard help and as long as he’s getting minutes.
Trade(s) of the Night: The Knicks have their eye on the prize, which contrary to popular belief, is not an NBA championship. Bye bye Jamal Crawford and Zach Randolph, hello cap space in 2010.

The Biggest Loser: It’s between Tyson Chandler (-0.43), who didn’t score (who didn’t even shoot!) and had 6 boards in 22 minutes, or Jermaine O’Neal (-0.51), who had slightly better counting stats (7 and 7 with a block) but who was 3-11 from the floor.
Patrick’s Saturday Movie Recommendation: Holes. I caught about an hour of this movie the other day and it was surprising f-ing good, which took a little bit of shame away from the fact that I was watching it on the Disney channel. Holes stars a pre-everything Shia LaBeouf, who even back then had perfected his annoying Shia LaBeouf mannerisms, which I grow more tired of every time I see him (don’t even get me started on Transformers – thank you Michael Bay for pissing all over my childhood). But the movie is saved by Jon Voight as Marion ‘Mr. Sir’ Sevillo. It’s the most wonderful ridiculous performance I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you Jon, for giving 110% in this movie.
All Eyez on Me: Houston (8-5) at Orlando (9-3): Dwight Howard vs. Yao Ming. In their match-ups last season, Ming actually got the better of Howard, averaged 23 points and 14 boards to Howard’s 19 points and 10 boards. Of course, it was only two games, and I’d still expect Howard to have a monster game.
Los Angeles (2-10) at New Jersey (5-6): The new look Clippers will have Zach Randolph suiting up in this game. Also, plug and play Eric Gordon, who didn’t get the start in Cuttino Mobley’s absence (that was Rickey Davis or some facsimile of him), but Gordon got the majority of minutes at the 2 and was ok (8/2/2 with 2 steals).
Milwaukee (6-8) at Charlotte (3-8): Michael Redd is still day-to-day. Keep him out of your lineups and Ramon Sessions in.
Portland (8-5) at Phoenix (8-5): Greg Oden vs. Shaq, which probably sounds a lot better in your head than it will play out. Still, it’s going to be a fun game to watch. Brandon Roy has been sitting in a crouched position the last few games and seems ready to pounce.
