Sorry for getting this one up a little late today, I had some unexpected Christmas (yes Christmas) activities that took up my morning. On to the rundown…

Line of the Night: Chris Paul (1.65) with (I believe) his first LotN of the season. And he did it in style with a 29 point, 10 rebound, 16 assist triple-double. Forget the fact that it came against the P.J. Carlesimo-less Thunder, it’s an impressive performance nonetheless. Take it away with some expert analysis Byron Scott:

“It was his best game of the year.”

Can’t argue with that.

Honorable Mentions: Zach Randolph was inactive for yesterday’s Clippers game and Marcus Camby (0.98) took advantage of the opportunity with 18 points off 8-12 shooting, 13 rebounds and 3 blocks. My guess is that his next game isn’t quite that nice; Antawn Jamison (0.93) had 18 and 13 with 3 blocks; Shawn Marion (0.93) only had 18 and 9, but added 6 steals; and mighty Nate Robinson (0.89) got the start for a short-handed Knicks’ team and showed what he can do with 40 minutes: 27 points, 4 threes, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Like Nate Rob, Quentin Richardson (1.22) took advantage of some extra playing time to score 34 points off 7-13 from three. He’s probably only available in shallow leagues and is an incredibly streaky player, but he’s capable of putting up some mad stats every once in a while.

Joel Przybilla (0.75) didn’t score in 29 minutes on the court, but he did snag 8 boards, had 3 steals and blocked 5 shots. He also let Shaq run all over him with a 19 point, 17 rebound performance, so it seems he’s as ready for the Greg Oden era as anyone.

The Biggest Loser: Delonte West put the lockdown on Joe Johnson (-0.51) last night, limiting him to 4 points on 1-8 shooting. Get that man a Zima, he deserves it.

And while not all too much is expected of Mickael Pietrus (-0.67), he is starting and he should be able to do more than 4 points, 3 rebounds and 4 turnovers in 29 minutes.

All Eyez on Me: Boston @ Toronto – I boldly predict Ray Allen will go 5-7 from three and finish with 21 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists…

Golden State @ Philadelphia – I couldn’t find out if Jamal Crawford is going to suit up for the Warriors tonight, but if he does it’s a chance to see once of the crazy lineups put together by man. It’ll also give us a good idea if his fantasy value will be affected (or not) by the move.
