HoopsAvenue is going to be running a contest from Nov. 30 to Dec. 6 in our fantasy basketball league. They are giving away a copy of NBA 2K9 to the winner of that week in the league. The player only needs to play that week to win.

I haven’t really fully scouted this out, but from the FAQs it looks like a salary cap game, i.e., easy to join at any time. Set up a team and see if you can win a free video game! What’s there to lose, right? Here’s the post on their site about it. Looks like you have to have your roster set by Nov. 30th at Noon EST. Sorry for the late notice…

  • Thanks for posting this. As Nels pointed out, it is easy to join at any time and you won't be at any disadvantage since its a salary cap game. Time is of the essence though as you will need to have your roster set for 11/30 by Noon on 11/30 so less than 24 hours from now! We're giving away NBA2K9 (any version) to whoever scores the most points from 11/30 to 12/6 so remember to set your roster for those 7 days. Good luck!
