Line of the Night: OJ Mayo was taken on average at #83 on ESPN and #89 on Yahoo. He currently sits at #45 on the 9-category GMTR Player Rater, and last night, he was the best fantasy performer, beating out 76 other players with a score of 1.07. Not a great score from the old BasketballMonster.com player rater, but solid, definitely solid. Mayo had 28/5/4 with 4 threes and made 8 of 8 free throws.
Honorable Mentions: Kevin Durant (1.03) made Mayo fight hard for his LotN with 28 and 13, adding a three and 4 blocks. Kid’s got length.

Pau Gasol (0.95) had 18/11/6 with 3 blocks. Jose Calderon (0.92) seems like he should have been higher on this list after scoring 22 points on 8/8 shooting from the field, including 5 three-pointers. He also had 7 assists.
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Right after Calderon, we get our Free Agent of the night: Joel Anthony (0.89), who is owned in only 2% of Yahoo leagues. Anthony plays Center for the Miami Heat, and in last night’s game he had 12 and 13 with 5 blocks, and was a perfect 5/5 from the floor. One more game like that and his ownership percentage will skyrocket. I certainly will be interested to see if he has the second game in him.
The Biggest Loser: Randy Foye (-0.71) started and played 33 minutes for the Timberwolves last night. In that generous amount of time, Foye managed 5 points, 3 rebounds, and 6 assists, which isn’t all that bad, except that he shot 2/12 from the field.
All Eyez On Me: Full slate of 9 games tonight, with New York at Phoenix being the most interesting matchup in my eyez. D’Antoni’s up-and-comers vs. his old faltering team.
From a fantasy perspective, unfortunately, Dwight Howard probably won’t be playing to take advantage of Golden State’s fast-paced lack-of-height game, but Joel Anthony will have his first chance at his second game as Miami hosts Milwaukee.
