Line of the Night: Mo Williams (1.58) made 7 three-pointers en route to 43 points on 62.5% shooting from the field, and 6-6 from the free throw line. He also had 8 rebounds and 11 assists. That’s a LeBron James-type line (except for the free throw part).

Honorable Mentions: Kevin Martin (1.40) is trying to make up his missed time for fantasy owners by going for 35/7/7 with 4 three-pointers and 4 steals.

Speaking of LeBron James-type lines, LeBron James (1.15) had 23/15/11 with 3 blocks. James shot an un-LeBron-James-like 86.7% from the line. He’s still in the race for MVP, right?

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Mickael Pietrus (1.00) returned from a broken wrist injury with an exclamation point (!). Pietrus was 5th on the night with a 27 and 10 double-double. He had 4 threes, 4 assists, a steal, and a block. And since this post features impressions of other players, that one reminds me of “vintage” Shawn Marion. Pietrus is owned in 36% of Yahoo leagues, and if you’re looking for a SG/SF pick up, he’s definitely worth a look.

The Biggest Loser: Pau Gasol (-0.59) might have cost the Lakers the game against the Bobcats by shooting 25% from the field. Gasol played 42 minutes in the overtime game, scoring only 10 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. He was also 1-3 from the line.

All Eyez On Me: Look for DeAndre Jordan should have another 20 rebounds tonight as the Clippers take on the Bulls.

The Golden Ticket: Golden State rolls into Dallas tonight, so maybe Dirk Nowitzki will bounce back from his botched game against Boston.

Atlanta will be at Madison Square Garden to play the Knicks, so things look good for guys like Josh Smith and Joe Johnson. Mike Bibby had a pretty awful first game against the Knicks this year, so if you’ve got daily lineup changes and are trying to make a decision, I’d go for the other guy.
