Line of the Night: Al Jefferson (1.4) has always been an offensive force as he showed yesterday with 36 points on 16-30 shooting. But when he adds some defense to that equation like he did against Houston – 22 rebounds and 4 steals – the man is unstoppable fantasy wrecking machine with only one speed: kill.

Honorable Mentions: Stop right now and grab Ramon Sessions (1.01) if he’s available in your league. With Luke Ridnour out for the next 4 weeks with a broken thumb, Sessions will get plenty of more opportunity to do this again: a career-high 44 points off 13-18 shooting with 12 assists; Dirk Nowitzki (1.34) scored 44 himself, adding 9 boards, 2 steals and 3 blocks; and Rasheed Wallace (1.21) was 7-10 from three, scoring 27 points. Not exactly what you’re looking for in your center, but I’m guessing most people will take it.
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Ryan Anderson (0.83) with a double-double for the Nets (13 points/12 boards). Anderson has flown under the radar (to me at least) while filling in for the injured Yi Jianlian over the past couple weeks, but he’s getting a consistent 30 minutes a night and quoting Vince Carter, “That mother****** can rebound the **** out of the ball.”
The Biggest Loser: Sonny Weems (-0.71) achieved an amazing 0/0/0 line with 2 turnovers in 8 minutes.. Ok, I just like his name. Sonny Weems. No, it’s Andrea Bargnani (-0.57), who had 8 points and 8 rebounds in a 78-70 loss to the Grizzles. Unfortunately, those 8 points came at the expense of 1-11 shooting, which if I do the math correctly is 9%.
All Eyez on Me: San Antonio (33-15) at Boston (42-10) – The Spurs come into this game well rested having not played since Tuesday, so maybe they can fit some of their stars into this one. At least for a half, maybe.
Los Angeles (40-9) at Cleveland (39-9) – A nationally televised matchup between the man who dropped 61 on the Knicks and the man who scored 52 as part of a triple-double against the Knicks. Unfortunately, none of the Knicks are playing in this game, so the fantasy performances are going to be a bit less outrageous today.
The Golden Ticket: Utah (29-22) at Golden State (16-35) – As was pointed out to us, the Jazz have been weak on the road this season, going 9-16 compared to 20-6 at home. But coming off a win in Sacramento, the Jazz have a good opportunity to make it 2 in a row on the road. If they get it done, expect Deron Williams, Mehmet Okur and Paul Millsap to all have good offensive games.
