Or at least, for LotN, okay?

Line of the Night: Michael Beasley top the night with a 0.79. Vin, you were wondering what the highest LotN score has been? I can guarantee you that is NOT it. In fact, that maybe actually be the LOWEST Line of the Night score I’ve seen in 109 days so far. Beez (what’s his real nickname anyway?) had 21 and 7 with a steal and 2 blocks. He shot 9-10 from the field and 2-2 from the line.

Honorable Mentions: I’m not sure how Rajon Rondo (0.52) didn’t get line of the night for this Trip-Dub of 19/15/14, but I guess he had 6 turnovers… Other honorable mentions? When that line doesn’t get Line of the Night? Nah. Let’s just call it a day.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: The Block Machine Ronny Turiaf (0.56) only had 1 block last night, but he also had 14 points and 11 rebounds on 57% from the field and 6-6 from the stripe.

The Biggest Loser: Luol Deng (-0.24) takes this one with his 33% shooting, netting 6 points in 28 minutes. He’s totally worth holding back from a trade for Amare.

All Eyez On Me: Can Beasley repeat his LotN performance in the Rookie-Sophomore game tonight? I have to say, looking at the Rookie roster versus the Sophomores, I definitely think that the class of 2008 has much higher upside potential than 2007. The Sophomores have won 7 straight games, though, so we’ll see.

RotoRob has a fantasy analysis of the Phoenix Suns. Perhaps a little premature since they’ll almost certainly have a different look before (or just after) the trade deadline.

if i recall correctly (and i might not), lebron got a 2.00 (or slightly over?) for his january 9th performance against boston: 38/7/6/4/3, with 9/9 FT, 13/25 FG, 3 threes (and 3 TO). that's a badass line by anyone's measurements, but the reason i think i remember it was that i thought this site didn't make enough of a big deal about it. i expected them to break out a cake or something.

You're close (and certainly closer than I would have been without actually going back through every post). LeBron got a 1.98 for that performance, which is somewhat ironic because the night before featured another historic low (by Manu Ginobli) of 0.86.

Maybe next year I'll keep spreadsheet with the LotN score for each day…

You don't want to go through all 170 days at the end of the season?

Maybe we could get Erik to do it. ;)
