Line of the Night: A rare LotN off the bench for Nate Robinson (1.35). Robinson scored a season-high 41 points off 11-18 shooting for the Knicks, adding 8 boards, 2 steals and 4 threes against the Danny Granger-less Indiana Pacers. And a special thanks to reader grover who pointed us to this Onion article: Nate Robinson Jumping Over Dwight Howard In Everyday Life.

Honorable Mentions: Anyone play in a league that counts half-court game winning shots as a stat cat? Devin Harris (1.25) nailed a 47 footer at the buzzer to give the Nets a 98-96 win over Philly. He finished with 39 points, 8 assists and 5 threes; Chris Paul (1.07) welcomed Tyson “damaged goods” Chandler back to the team with 27 points, 13 assists and 3 steals; and hey, we’ve haven’t seen Baron Davis (0.99) around these parts in a while. B-Diddy was one rebound short of a triple-double – he finished with 25/9/10 and 4 threes – against (one guess) your Golden State Warriors.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: CJ Watson (0.51) and Keyon Dooling (0.51) check with the 16th and 17th best lines of yesterday. Both came off the bench for their respective teams and both had 16 points with a couple steals. Dooling has been the more consistent performer by far this year, which is not surprising because Watson plays for your Golden State Warriors.

And make sure to grab Andres Nocioni (0.38) if he’s available in your league. In his two games with the Kings, they’ve thrown him out on the court for 30 and 32 minutes. The last time he saw that much action with the Bulls was January 15th and 17th.

Welcome Back You Lazy MFer: Carlos Boozer has returned. Boozer got the start in his first game back for the Jazz, playing 21 minutes, scoring 2 points and grabbing 5 boards. Meanwhile, my favorite Jazz power forward, Paul Millsap, came off the bench for 30 minutes and finished with 16 and 12. Unfortunately, expect his minutes to decline as Boozer shakes the rust off his game.

The Biggest Loser: The Denver Nuggets got raped by the Celtics last night 114-76, and Chauncey Billups (-0.73) is probably feeling the most pain today. In 34 minutes, he scored 3 points on 1-8 shooting, had 5 assists and 4 turnovers. He did go a perfect 1-1 from the line, so, it’s not ALL bad news.

And while Nate Robinson had the best game of the day, his teammate Chris Duhon (-0.58) – 4 points, 5 assists, 6 turnovers – looked decidedly less awesome. Plus, I doubt Duhon could jump over Dwight Howard, so extra demerits for Duhon there.

All Eyez on Me: Minnesota (18-37) at Toronto (22-36). Too little too late? Shawn Marion has looked good since joining Toronto (with two double-doubles in his last two games) but his weak first half of the year has probably left all those fantasy owners who drafted him a big hill to climb (I unfortunately speak from experience). But the guy who has benefited the most from the trade has got to be Andrea Bargnani, who went for 28 and 10 in the Raptors last game (although it did come against the Knicks).

Charlotte (22-34) at Phoenix (31-24) – The Suns “only” managed 108 points in their last game. However, it came against one of the better defensive teams in the league in the Celtics. Time to get Leandro Barbosa in your lineup for good. The dude has about 53 steals in his last 5 games.

    Good stuff…great picture!

Haha yea I love that picture too.
what's youre take on the Boozer situation? I've been offered Millsap in a trade in my fantasy league, and my gut instinct is to turn it down because Boozer is back.

That was my first instinct too, but Millsap averaged 26 minutes a game before Boozer went down. It's not quite the 32 he's averaging now, but depending on the kind of deal your getting, he still could be worth owning in a lot of leagues.

I wouldn't give up too much for him though.

I'm with Patrick. Boozer isn't going to completely destroy Millsap's fantasy value. Obviously you don't want to give up someone who is equal to Millsap's value right now, but if you have an idea of where Millsap will end up, you can trade away someone who has a value in that range. Also depends on your needs, of course. If you need some more rebounds, he'll continue to be a decent player in that category.

the trade is Duhon and Millsap for Andre Miller and Tyrus Thomas. I would be trading away Miller and Thomas. Would you guys do it? Tyrus Thomas has a huge ceiling but is inconsistent. I dont know if Brad miller on the bulls will help Thomas though

I'd like that trade a lot for you if Duhon weren't hurt with a sprained ankle (and looking bad lately). As it stands now, you'd be taking on a lot of risk and giving up the best player in the deal in Miller. I'd probably avoid it unless my team was desperate situation and needed a shake up to make the playoffs or something.
