Really? Two blowouts last night? Even with LeBron and Kobe playing, you have to wonder what kind of ratings TNT is getting for these boring ass games.
Line of the Night: Kobe Bryant (0.79) was efficient, but not impressive, scoring 22 points on 77%, but took a very un-Kobe-like 2 free throws. He also had 8 assists and 3 steals.
Honorable Mentions: Lamar Odom (0.58) had 23, 9, and 3 blocks.
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Technically, Trevor Ariza (0.55) was the best, but the only thing that got him there was 5 steals. He’s averaging 1.6 on the season, so it’s not unfathomable that you might pick him up in deeper leagues for help with steals.
Von Wafer (0.41) had 19 points with 4 threes.
The Biggest Loser: Delonte West (-0.54) started for the Cavs and played 29 minutes, going 2-8 from the field, and turning the ball over 3 times, to go with 4 points, 3 rebounds, an assist, and a block.
All Eyez On Me: Cleveland heads into San Antonio tonight after losing in Houston last night. I’m sure LeBron James are owners are hoping for some Revenge Mode.
Kobe plays again, this time at Denver in a game between two of the better teams in the West, and potential second round playoff matchup. Much like LeBron owners are hoping for Revenge Mode, Kobe owners are hoping for Statement Mode.
The Golden Ticket: Both Golden State and New York are playing tonight, so make sure to get your 76ers and Bobcats in there.
Friday’s Tiny Dancer: In honor of Kobe Bryant “outperforming” everyone, here’s some Laker Girls.
