Line of the Night: Dwyane Wade (1.78) may have had the benefit of 3 overtimes, but I didn’t see anyone else playing in that game drop 50 points and come 1 assist short of a triple-double. Let me check the box score again… yep, only Wade. Wade was 19-39 from the field and 4-11 from three – so it’s not like he was really efficient with his scoring – but added 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals in 53 minutes.

Honorable Mentions: Nene Hilario (1.05) pulled down a double-double with 17 and 10; Ben Gordon (0.96) scored 27 points with 3 threes, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists; and Mario Chalmers (0.95) had 23 points and 5 steals.
Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Thanks to the 3 OT game against Miami, Kyle Korver (1.14) scored a season high 25 points, going 10-16 from the floor and 4-7 from three, with 7 boards and 6 assists in 48 minutes on the court. Korver is currently owned in 17% of Yahoo leagues, which actually seems a little high for a guy averaging 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists this season. But what about the threes… and the bangs? 1.3 threes a game is nice and all, but not something to wet your pants about. The bangs are a different story…
If you’re really in need of a pickup, a better bet would be Ryan Gomes (0.45) – 21 points/6 boards – or even take a ride on the Chris Andersen (0.35) train until it makes you physically sick to your stomach.
The Biggest Loser: Jason Richardson (-0.28) was 3-9 from the field, scoring 6 points with 5 rebounds and 1 assist in 21 minutes against OKC. Oh, and even though it happened the other day, extra Biggest Loser demerits for getting your showboating 360 dunk blocked by LeBron. Ass.
And Derrick Rose (-0.29) is mixing good performances with some horrible ones lately. Yes, he did have 7 assists against the Hornets, but shot 2-9 from the floor and scored 4 points.
All Eyez on Me: Dallas (40-26) at Los Angeles (52-13) – Your nationally televised game today. Dirk best be in for a good game, as he’s only averaged 16.5 points in Dallas’ two meetings against the Lakers this season.
Phoenix (35-31) at Golden State (23-42) – there are two things I know: there will be a lot of scoring in this game and Ronny Turiaf and Brandan Wright are both guys you want to keep an eye on for the stretch run.
New York (28-37) at Cleveland (52-13) – With D-Wade putting up his latest sick line, it’s time to see how LeBron responds. Going against the Knicks, I bet its something LotN worthy. And if he’s available in your league and you can deal with the horrible FG%, Larry Hughes is worth a look. At this point, you could put the 80-year old Bob Cousy in the Knicks starting lineup and he’d be worth owning in most fantasy leagues.
