Line of the Night: Jason Richardson (1.66). According to Richardson, “Coach asked me to pick up the slack after the first half of Philadelphia (Wednesday night), because losing LB [Leandro Barbosa], it’s a lot of scoring. He gives us 14 or 15 points a game and I have to go out there and be more aggressive.”

Mission accomplished JR. Richardson gave Phoenix that offense and more as he scored 35 points on 13-18 shooting (6-9 for three), adding 7 rebounds and a couple blocks in a Suns win. Too bad Richardson couldn’t be that half that efficient with his shooting all the time.

Honorable Mentions: Jarrett Jack (1.29) led Indiana with 31 points on a crazy 13-14 shooting. He also had 6 boards and a couple steals; Brandon Roy (1.11) had 30 points, 8 boards, 7 assists and a couple steals in a Blazers win.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night: Not a great night for free agents. There are retreads Quentin Richardson (0.77) and Tyrus Thomas (0.58). Richardson got the start (David Lee got the night off with sore knees) and had a good shooting night, finishing 11-20 from the field and scoring 33 points. Lee isn’t expected to miss any more time, so keep Richardson out of you lineup. And Thomas exploded for 15 points and 16 boards while playing 42 minutes against the Lakers. I wouldn’t trust Thomas further than Nels can throw him.

Other than that, Jordon Farmar (0.46) scored 13 points with 3 threes and 3 steals in 24 minutes off the bench for the Lakers. Yeah, like I said, not a great night.

The Biggest Loser: The back to back games did not treat Gerald Wallace (-0.39) well. Wallace was only 1-4 from the floor in the Bobcats loss. He finished with 3 points, 5 assists and 4 turnovers.

All Eyez On Me: Your nationally televised game today matches Miami (36-32) at Detroit (34-34). The bruised and battered Pistons should get Rodney Stuckey back in the lineup today, but don’t expect Rip Hamilton and Rasheed Wallace to return yet. That means Antonio McDyess should continue to his hot stretch.

The Golden Ticket: Golden State (25-44) at New Orleans (43-25) – Time to get all those Hornets in your lineup (Rasual Butler anyone?) with the possible exception of Tyson Chandler, who is questionable for this game with a sore left ankle.

J-Rich made 5 three pointers in a row. Toward the end the game, right before he got pulled he started to get a little bit greedy and threw 2 more three pointers up which didn't go in. His numbers could have been even better if he wasn't playing around as the Suns went up 30.
