Sorry for the delay in getting this on up folks, both Nels and I had real-life stuff come up today. I can speak for Nels, but that coffee can of pennies I have on my computer desk wasn’t going to roll itself.

Line of the Night: Don’t think we’re trying to forget about Jason Kidd (1.44) and his 20 assists. Kidd led the charge for Dallas as they absolutely dismantled the Suns 140-116 and basically wrapped up the 8th playoff spot in the West. Dallas shot 60% as a team (there’s where al those assists came from), while Kidd was 6-8 from the field and 3-4 from three, finishing with 19 points.

Honorable Mentions: Lebron James (1.38) came in second on the night with a 38/7/6 line. He was 14-21 from the floor and 8-8 from the line; and Deron Williams (1.1) was the best fantasy PG in the Jazz/Hornets match-up for at least one game. He finished with 21 points, 11 assists and 3 steals.

Waiver Wire Line of the Night:Not only did Big Willie Bynum (0.96) explode for a career-high 32 points, he also set a Pistons franchise record by scoring 26 of those points in the 4th quarter of their win over the Bobcats (previous record holders? Jerry Stackhouse and Isiah Thomas, tied at 24). After Richard Hamilton picked up his second technical in the 3rd quarter of yesterday’s game, Bynum subbed in and started working some pick-and-roll magic with Tayshaun Prince. The rest, as they say, will find its way into a 3 minute Youtube clip of Will Bynum’s career highlights someday.

The Biggest Loser: Jason Richardson (-0.69) got injured in the first quarter of last night’s Suns beat down and took himself out of the game. As result, his line looks like a Larry Hughes Joint: 0-4 from the floor, 0-3 from three and 2 points in 19 minutes on the court.
