Personally, I wouldn't expect much from Willie. At least based on the Sixers' last game, Jason Kapono benefited a lot more minutes-wise than Green. Green is one of those undersized shooting guard types who can't really shoot that well and doesn't do much else on the court. If you're really desperate and miss out on Jrue, go with Kapono over Green. That least that dude can shoot the trey.

Where do you think Willie Green will stand with the injury to Williams? Taking into account EJ's aversion to playing rookies…think he can get enough burn to help with 3's and points?

Nice job with the Big Al trade, especially since you were able to flip the injury prone and underperforming Butler.

Jrue Holiday is definitely your man, grab him immediately if you can. With Williams going to miss the next 8 weeks after surgery, Holiday is going to start at the point for the Sixers. Serge is an ok short term pickup who will give you some mediocre points/boards, but his increase in playing time is because Nick Collison missed the Thunder's last two games. Collison is day-to-day as far as I know, so Serge's value will likely be short-term.

If your really hard up for big men, you can check out Amir Johnson. He's been crazy inconsistent, but just play him every other game and you should be fine

Such a depressing diagnosis....any chance I should drop him for Serge Ilkala (he's got 30 mins garbage time against LAL and then, a more meaningful, 20-min outing next game. With Kristic being.....white, think he'll get steady playtime to contribute in rebs/blks?) or Jrue Holiday (mentally hitting myself for dropping him for James Jones last night before i knew the extent of Lou Williams's injury)??

The league's pretty competitive so it's been a struggle trying to go for waiver pickups. =[

On the bright side, I just got big Al and Terence Williams for B-easy and Butler!

Hinrich's problem is that he's currently shooting 37% from the field and 68% from the line to start the season. And now word is that he's questionable for tonight's game with left thumb sprain. The thumb sprain would at least explain why he can't buy a basket this year and also give you an excuse to drop him. Without knowing who's available in your league (and it's probably not much), it's tough to give you a definite recommendation, but Hinrich at his best is marginally useful. If his thumb does turn out to be ok, the shooting should improve slightly to and his scoring will get better as a result. If not, then expect him to either miss a number of games like he did last year or continue to shoot about as well as my grandfather.

any read on what's wrong with Captain Kirk? I've got him on my 20-man monster league…but he's been horribly under-performing, do you think this is a short term thing or do you think he's stuck being marginally useful until he gets traded?
